As a testament our quality and build know-how we are capable of creating LMR antennas of high durability and reliability. Below are some of the tests we are able to employ to ensure we achieve customer’s specific requirements for any product.
Bend Test
Bend Test at 0°C and +60°C The antenna shall withstand a thousand cycles with the antenna bent at a 90° angle.
The cycling fixture shall contact the antenna at the midpoint of its length, but not less than 3 inch from the base of the antenna and shall cycle at a rate of one cycle per minute.
The antenna shall be held at 0°C and +60°C for three hours prior the the test.
Bend Test at -40°C The antenna shall withstand one bend cycle at -40°C. The antenna shall be held at -40°C for three hours prior to the test.
Torque Test
The antenna shall withstand a torque of 15 lbf-in in the clockwise and counterclockwise direction.
Swing Test
The antenna shall withstand a hundred thousand cycle bend test, each consisting of a 90° bend in any plane, 45° to either side of the vertical axis.
Pull Test
The antenna shall withstand an axial tensile load of 50 pounds for one minute applied at a point of the antenna.
